Solutions Group of Companies Continues Growth Trajectory with Two More Acquisitions

Company well positioned to help clients reinvent workspaces post-pandemic

EDMONTON Solutions Group of Companies (SGC) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Richking Interiors and Division Nine Flooring to further diversify its product and service offerings as part of a plan to expand national reach.

Effective May 1st 2021, employees and executive team from these two Edmonton-based companies joined Solutions to bring expertise in interior construction, project management, flooring, and installation.

Founder and CEO Todd Bish along with President and COO Jason Steele will continue to lead Solutions Group.

The Solutions Group of Companies will now be comprised of Solutions Business Interiors, Norlab, Richking Interiors and Division Nine Flooring. Each company will continue to operate individually, but now with a broadened leadership team.

With this latest move, Solutions Group has become a premium provider with a truly unique offering. “With such a wide selection of integrated products and services from trusted providers, we can now create new opportunities to better serve clients across Canada,” explains Todd Bish.

Looking ahead, the economy is predicted to improve dramatically post-pandemic and it is anticipated there will be a move towards hybrid office space, requiring companies to reimagine and reinvent workspaces.

Bish and his team believe that the office floorplan must be updated to fit today’s safety standards. Before the pandemic, the trend was open floor plans and shared workspaces, but leaders now need to rethink and re-create spaces based on individual company responses to re-opening.

“We have great short-term solutions we’ve been providing to clients such as desktop separation screens, portable desk partitions, glass walls that can be easily opened to combine spaces, sanitizing stations and modular furniture. But the new reality is demanding a workspace redesign. We need to look at how we can create more space between coworkers, more separation between groups and ensure proper ventilation – density must decrease to fulfil new work environment and ensure employees can perform in an optimal setting.” says Bish.

Solutions Group is ready to embrace opportunities for improvement and growth, while providing new and current clients with a vast range of workspace solutions.
